Gwen Filosa has been a regular at Comedy Key West since its start in 2016. She was invited to perform in Florida's Funniest Female showcase in 2019 and has done guest spots at clubs in Miami, New York and New Orleans. Gwen is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who covers Key West and in June 2023 founded her own communications company, Gwen Filosa Media. She previously worked at the Miami Herald, WLRN Public Media and the Key West Citizen. Before moving to Key West in 2011, she spent a decade covering crime in New Orleans for The Times-Picayune. She was part of the team that won the 2006 Pulitzer Prizes for Breaking News and the Public Service Medal for their coverage of the Hurricane Katrina disaster. She’s also a well-regarded dog sitter with references.

During the Show
We ask that you please keep all conversations to a minimum during the show. It's a small room, and even whispering can be heard by the performers and people around you. If this seems like a no-brainer, it's because you are sober. After a drink or two, it sometimes seems less obvious!
